100% PES means that the fabric is made exclusively of polyester. This material is hard-wearing, crease-resistant and dries quickly, but may be less breathable and prone to static.

A good weight for upholstery material is usually 200-500 g/m². Lower-weight fabrics are light and adapt well to shapes, while a higher weight provides a thicker, more solid structure. Materials in this range are suitable for upholstering sofas, armchairs, pouffes and other upholstered furniture.

For corner sofa upholstery, consider velour, chenille, microfibre or a hard-wearing woven fabric. A water-repellent coating helps keep the material clean, and a tight structure improves resistance to everyday use. With pets, fabrics less prone to snagging work best.

When choosing a corner sofa, check its dimensions, layout, type of filling and functionality. The durability of the fabric and how easily dirt can be removed also matter a great deal. With children and pets, abrasion-resistant upholstery that is less prone to snagging works best.

Bouclé has a characteristic soft, looped texture that gives furniture a cosy character. It works brilliantly on armchairs, chairs and cushions, while on heavily used sofas it is worth treating it a little more carefully.

Bouclé has a characteristic uneven surface made up of small loops and knots, giving it a 3D effect. The fabric is soft, fluffy and pleasant to the touch. It often comes in calm, natural colours such as beige, cream, white or grey.

Rolf Miodowy Mech is a warm, natural shade combining honey tones with a more earthy, botanical note. The bouclé texture gives the colour extra depth, and it may look slightly different depending on the light. A sample will best show its true character in your own home.

Rolf is a textured bouclé fabric with a clearly visible looped texture. Its surface is more three-dimensional than that of smooth materials, giving the upholstery a soft, decorative character.

A 100% PES composition means that the material is made exclusively of polyester fibres. Polyester holds its shape well, is not prone to stretching and suits fabrics that need to keep a stable appearance during everyday use. It is also relatively easy to care for.

Its abrasion resistance is at least 30,000 cycles. This result indicates that the material is designed for the repeated rubbing that occurs when using upholstered furniture.

No. The fabric scored 5 in the pilling test, which is a very high result. This means the surface has a low tendency to form the typical bobbles and pilling.

The colour scored 4-5 in both the dry and wet rubbing tests. This is a very good result, indicating high colour durability during normal use of the upholstery.

Light fastness was rated 7. This is a very high result, indicating highly durable colour when exposed to light. The Miodowy Mech shade itself may, however, look different in daylight and artificial light, so it is worth judging it on a sample.

Rolf weighs 560 g/m² with a tolerance of ±5%, meaning one square metre of the material weighs about 560 grams. This is a relatively high value, typical of fuller, more substantial upholstery fabrics. In Rolf it gives the material its distinct, compact character and complements the three-dimensional bouclé texture.

Bouclé is best cared for gently. Dust can be removed with a soft upholstery nozzle, and fresh marks are best blotted without vigorous rubbing. When cleaning, avoid harsh detergents, hard scrubbing and excessive soaking, as these can damage the looped structure of the material.
